Suresync SQL protection - backup software

SureSync’s SQL Protection provides an affordable, automated solution for protecting critical Microsoft SQL & SQL Express databases (SQL Server 2005 and newer) and the valuable information they hold. You can use SureSync’s SQL Protection to copy SQL backups to a server accessible via UNC path, IP address or DNS name.

Key Features

Automate SQL backups

Scheduling the backup tasks from SureSync’s integrated interface is simple, protecting your critical SQL databases from the same familiar SureSync user interface.

Automatically thin old backups

Manage storage usage by automatically thinning old backup files. SQL Protection can be configured to keep x number of full backups. When a new full is generated, the oldest full and all associated differential or log backups can be automatically deleted

Copy SQL backups to other servers

Backups can automatically be copied to another server via UNC path. In addition, the TCP/IP based Communications Agent can be used to copy to a remote server accessible via IP address or DNS name to create off site backups.

Quick and easy restores

An easy to use restore wizard is provided to allow your organisation to quickly recover from any SQL database issues.

FIPS certified encryption

When using the Communications Agent, select from a set of FIPS certified encrytpion algorithms. Securely transmit sensitive SQL backups to remote offices even over the Internet!

Verify SQL backups and more with a Standby Server

SureSync SQL Protection can automatically restore database backup files to another SQL server. This powerful functionality provides the following benefits:

How is SureSync SQL Protection licensed?

Licensing is quite simple. All you need to do is count the number of SQL Servers you wish to protect and that is the number of licenses you require. It doesn't matter how many SQL instances are on the server or how many databases they contain. It is one license for the entire source server. No SQL Protection licenses are required for target servers.

How much does SureSync SQL Protection cost?

Pricing for SureSync SQL Protection starts out at $795 per SQL server. Quantity discounts are offered. We encourage you to contact our sales team for a quote in $, € or £ and inquire about the Upgrade & Support Plan.
