DME for Android
With the emergence of the Android platform, it seemed
more than natural for DME to support the new smartphones running on
Google' s OS. It took a little more time than expected, as we
wanted to make sure to release a great e-mail and PIM client that
works just the way you expect it to.
Become an efficient mobile worker with DME for Android, and keep
track of your e-mail correspondance and your calendar from your
favorite Android device.
With DME for Android, each end-user will be in full control of
the corporate data on his/her phone, without having to worry that
it might get misplaced or lost.
DME for Android has all the features expected from a corporate
e-mail and PIM application such as:
- synchronise e-mails, calendar, and contacts1
- view corporate e-mails and attachments
- synchronise e-mail sub-folders
- search e-mails on the server
- view calendar details like rooms and participants
- create and modify calendar entries
- access global address book
- TypeAssist function for easy entry of recipient names
More features will follow in subsequent releases. DME for
Android supports Android 1.5 and above, and can be downloaded for
free2 from Android Market.
