Encrypted Data protection for PDAs &
Smartphones
Mobiz guarantees the security of all data on PDAs and
smartphones through encryption, so protecting the contents of these
devices against theft or loss. All this remains entirely
transparent to users, who are also able to send and receive
encrypted attachments by e-mail.
Complete, transparent protection for mobile
terminals
All the device's data is encrypted, including the address
book, agenda, mailboxes, etc., along with the contents of the
storage card or any additional storage media. The information is
automatically decrypted on-the-fly, in real time, at the moment it
is used.
End-to-end encryption of e-mails & attached
files
Mobiz uses Zed! Encryption/decryption technology for the
end-to-end processing of e-mails. This means that users have access
to the encrypted messages whether via their mobile device or via
their PC, each being protected by the Prim'X solution.
Authentication via certificate or
password
When the device is activated, the user is authenticated
either by password or by certificate, at the choice of the
company.
No impact on usability
Mobiz has absolutely no effect on the way the device
operates. Once the user is authenticated, the encryption/decryption
operations are automatic and transparent. The user has nothing to
do.
Recovery
A configurable recovery plan may be defined by the company. It
is then applied automatically and systematically by Mobiz. This
then allows any data to be recovered by a security officer.
New high-performance technology
Mobiz for Windows Mobile uses the encryption technology
[FSRd] successfully developed by Prim'X on the XP and Vista
platforms.
Installation and deployment
Mobiz is installed, deployed and administered using
the usual administration services and tools for mobile terminal
pools.
