Event Log Notifications and Alerts

ELM Event Log Monitor includes a rich, robust Notification Engine that enables you to customise notification and corrective action to suit your organisational needs. You can have separate notification methods for different events, or a single notification method for all similar events.

Event Log Reporting

The Results container in the ELM Console contains the results of monitoring and management activities that have been configured. Here you can view the Event Views which provide a mechanism for grouping events into a view that match one or more filters.

The Reporting container includes ELM Editor, a reporting engine that allows you to view preconfigured reports as well as build your own.

Event Log Archiving

ELM Event Log Monitor includes a built-in event processing engine that provides database connetivity to:

• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 -or- SQL 2008 Express Edition

During Setup, a Wizard will launch that will step you through the creation of your databases (Primary and Failover) as well as the option to create an Archive database.
