SureSync Licensing - Server to Server Licensing
SureSync server licensing is required when synchronising files
between servers. Servers are classified as any machine running a
Windows Server Operating System, FTP servers, Novell machines, and
any non-Windows machine such as a NAS box running Linux.
SureSync Base Product Licensing
The base SureSync product is licensed by the number of servers
referenced in synchronisation tasks.
Server-to-Server Example: In the
Server-to-Server example to the right, the minimum licensing
required would be 2 SureSync Server Licenses.

If you wanted features included in the SPIAgent and File Locking
Add-ons, the Server-to-Server example also shows that you would
need 2 SPIAgent Server Add-on Licenses and 2 File Locking Server
Add-on Licenses.
Installation Note: SureSync does not need to be
installed on each machine. In the Server-to-Server example, you can
install SureSync on Server 1 and setup jobs to replicate between
itself and Server 2. It is the SureSync License File that tells
SureSync the number of machines it can replicate & synchronise
files between.
Optional Add-on Product Licensing
SureSync's Optional Add-on products require the base product be
licensed fully to ensure your replication & synchronization
tasks are performing correctly. Click on the Add-on products below
