SureSync Add Ons - File Locking
The SPIAgent File Locking
Add-on allows you to share local file copies between remote offices
while eliminating the opportunity for multiple users to open write

The File Locking Add-on requires
the SPIAgent
Add-on be licensed as well in order to enable real-time
monitoring and synchronisation. These two powerful Add-ons ensure
your files are synchronised as changes occur and reduce the
opportunity of file changes being lost.
As users open and edit files,
the File Locking Add-on will lock that same file on remote paths as
read-only copies (as shown in the image above). Once that user
completes their edits and closes the file, other users in remote
offices will be able to view their changes and make their own
edits.
