Access control, of one sort of another, has been the basic approach to solving security problems throughout history. While stout doors, walls and locks are can't protect electronic assets, the principal is the same - keeping out those you don't want, while letting in those you do.

Calyx Data Security's suite of security products acts as a securely locked fortress surrounding the hard disk of a PC or laptop, making it impossible for anyone without permission to read or use the data it contains.
