We do not disclose any online communications between you and Open Seas. The single exception to this rule is when specifically required due to legal processes. We do not disclose any information relating to your activities when accessing the Open Seas web site. This includes, but is not limited to, (1) the dissemination of information contained on the Open Seas web site, (2) data which may be downloaded from or uploaded to the Open Seas' web site. We use secure technology, privacy protection controls, and restrictions on employee access in order to safeguard your personal information. Employees who violate our privacy policies are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of their employment and legal action. We will not disclose any information relating to any user identification, passwords, serial numbers, etc. which may be required for the use of any Open Seas product or service to any other party without your express consent. The single exception to this policy is the dissemination of serial numbers, product information and other information required by authorised suppliers and resellers of Open Seas' products. We use this cookie to remember who you are so that you do not need to fill out contact information each time you download or try to contact us. We want to use your contact information to provide service, not to be a nuisance. PCI DSS Open Seas does not hold credit card details in any format, electronic or physical. We accept card payments via a secure virtual terminal operated by a secure third party. We maintain an annual audit for continuing PCI DSS compliance with our credit card merchant account provider. GDPR - Data Retention, Right to Know, Right to be Forgotten Open Seas uses three electronic systems to hold customer related information: a CRM for sales and marketing, a Service Management system for support & helpdesk and a financial accounting system. We also make use of paper files. We retain data for seven years from last use as this is the HMRC requirement for financial information. We apply the same principal to the CRM and Service Management system as customers commonly return having lapsed for a number of years. If we have had no contact with a lapsed customer for 7 years then we will automatically purge all records related to them after seven years.
